I’ve been endorsed by EMILY’s List!

I’m very excited to announce that yesterday our campaign was endorsed by EMILY’S List, the leading Democratic women’s resource in the country.

EMILY’S List has a stellar history of supporting women candidates and issues relating to families and communities for over 30 years. Their endorsement isn’t just a win for the campaign – it’s a win for all of us who support equal opportunity and pay, health care choices, and making this country better and brighter for future generations.

Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY’s List, released the following statement:

“A former national security adviser to President Clinton and ambassador to the United Nations, Nancy Soderberg knows what it means to take on tough jobs. She has used her positions to advocate change, move our country forward, and defend the rights of our citizens. In her current role as a professor at the University of North Florida and a small business owner, she is deeply invested in her community and will do what it takes to ensure that the working families of the 6th District have a voice in Washington. Nancy will fight for access to quality health care, affordable higher education, and commonsense policies that will protect our environment.

“It’s time for a representative who will actually fight for working families, which is why EMILY’s List is strongly supporting Nancy Soderberg for Congress.”

I couldn’t be more thrilled that a group as dedicated as EMILY’S List is behind me. They understand how important it is that we take back the House, and they also know that women are too often underrepresented in elected positions.

I want to thank you for giving our campaign the platform to be recognized by such an amazing group – we couldn’t have gotten here without you.

Please consider donating to our campaign here in honor of this momentous achievement. $5, $25, $50, $100, or any amount you prefer will all go to fighting for the principles we stand for.

Thank you again for making all of this possible,

– Nancy
